Cookie Policy

This page explains what cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) this website uses, and how you can control them. You can change your choice at any time using the button below.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They can be "essential" (needed for the site to work) or "non-essential" (used for analytics, personalization, or advertising). We also use browser local storage in the same privacy-respecting way as a cookie, to remember your consent choice.
Essential
Always active — cannot be switched off, as the site cannot function properly without them.
- shw_consent (local storage) — stores your cookie preference so we don't ask again on every visit. Retained until you clear your browser storage or withdraw consent.
Analytics
Off by default. Only activated if you accept this category. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. GA4 does not load, and no analytics cookies are set, until you accept this category. See our Privacy Policy for details on what GA4 processes and how.
Marketing
Off by default. Not currently in use on this site. Reserved for any future advertising measurement, which would only activate with your explicit consent.
How consent is enforced
Before you make a choice, all non-essential Google consent signals (ad and analytics storage) are set to "denied" by default (Google Consent Mode). Tags that depend on analytics or marketing consent will not fire until you accept that category, either via the cookie banner or through Cookie Settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out and default non-essential categories to "denied" automatically.
Changing your choice
You can open your preferences at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the site footer, or the button above, and adjust or withdraw consent for any non-essential category.
For more on how we handle personal data generally, see our Privacy Policy.
